Sausage and Peppers

8 links sweet sausage
4 links hot sausage
1 large onion, cut in chunks
2 green peppers, cut into chunks
1 small can tomato sauce
Directions
- Prick sausages and boil 10 minutes and cool.
- Place onion and peppers in a heavy oven pot.
- Slice sausages in 1/4″ diagonal slices and lay on top.
- Pour tomato sauce over top and bake covered 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
This is a traditional Polish recipe that’s well loved at Hobbie/Cuper gatherings.
